Alex Burns career is well documented,performing /recording the Broad
repertoire of American string styles from Blues to Early jazz,Hawaiian
,calypso.
Alex solo show features Blues/early jazz, all performed on Resophonic
instruments capturing the sound of the golden era of this musical journey.
Michael Mildren
Michael Mildren has been around. From singer songwriter at the 1980 Daylesford Folk Festival supporting Ralph McTell to solo Techno at Big Day Out 2000 when The Chemical Brothers, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and You Am I were playing; from a Marathon 12-hour synth improv for Melbourne Fringe Festival to an episode on ABC Compass about his music therapy work with Dementia sufferers, Michael Mildren has been around.
A Multi-instrumentalist, singer and unapologetic yodeller, Michael is as comfortable performing on a mountain dulcimer as a Pipe Organ. Expect an eclectic set of traditional folk and heartbreaking original social commentary, probably performed on acoustic guitar with a mouthorgan strapped around his neck, and a banjo just in case.
